Tracy Tanner Bond is looking forward to receiving soon her twenty-five year service award from the University of Virginia.  Before joining Sorensen in 2006, her background at the University has been diverse, from experience in the Bursar's Office, Construction and Facilities Management and Real Estate Contract Administration.  Her financial and administrative experience has been a wonderful resource in managing the financial operations for this non-profit organization. Responsibilities include accounts receivable, accounts payable, and implementation of internal bookkeeping operation using Quickbooks software, while providing general office support to the rest of the staff.

Tracy believes in continuing education, and community service.  In 2008 she received her BA in Art History from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton. She was one of only four students that year honored with induction to the Alpha Lambda Sigma National Honor Society which "recognizes adult students who have demonstrated academic exellence in work for the Bachelor’s degree." Returning to college as an adult student had its challenges; however, the accomplishment was made possible thanks to the support she received from her family, husband Bill and children Karen, Kendall, and Sara.

She has served on the Greene County Farm Bureau Board of Directors and the William Monroe High School Sports Boosters. Tracy currently enjoys her membership in the Montpelier Chapter NSDAR,  Mountaineer Parents Club, West Virginia University, Women United in Philanthropy, Friends of Montpelier, Madison Historical Society, Friends of Greene County Library, Woman's Club of Madison and the American Horticultural Society. Tracy's roots remain in Madison County, Virginia where the couple plan to build a new home in 2010.
