October 28 is Sorensen Day in Virginia!
Oct 15 2009 - 11:17am

Everyone Reach One!

The Sorensen Institute announced this morning in an email to our alumni, board members, and supporters that Wednesday, October 28 will be Sorensen Day in Virginia. No, the Governor has not issued a special decree. But on that day we'll all be working together to help share the Sorensen message.

On that day we'll ask all the members of the Sorensen family— graduates of every program, members of our state and regional boards, every supporter, staff member, and all our friends— to each share the exciting news about the Sorensen Institute with someone new.

We're asking you to reach out on October 28 and promote the Sorensen Institute to someone with whom you've never talked about it before. If we all have even one discussion about the Sorensen Institute with someone new, that will be more than 1,200-plus Virginians who could be hearing about our work for the very first time.

Join us on October 28 by helping to spread the good word about the Sorensen Institute, whether in person, by phone, email, or text message! Let someone new know that Virginia is proud to have an organization like Sorensen. Send them to our website for more information, and let them know we are now accepting applications to the 2010 PLP and CTP.

Happy Sorensen Day!
