Ray is President of the Virginia Cable Telecommunications Association, the state trade association representing Virginia’s cable industry. Ray’s principle responsibilities are representing Virginia’s cable industry before members of the Virginia General Assembly and the United States Congress. Ray has served in this capacity for the past 5 years. 

Prior to joining the VCTA, Ray was the Vice President of Government Affairs for the Virginia Bankers Association. 

Ray currently serves of the Governor’s Rural Broadband Advisory Council, the Virginia Utility Protection Services Board of Directors, and the Virginia State Corporation Committee’s Public Affairs Committee on Utility Safety Awareness. He is on the St. Mary’s Hospital Community Affairs Committee and the Benedictine High School Athletic Foundation. 

Ray is a graduate from Mary Washington College, The School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia and The Robert Morris School of Commercial Lending. 

Ray has been married to his wife Alison for 21 years. They have two children Ryan and Madeline.

    Ann is the co-founder of Principle Advantage, Ltd., a consulting and lobbying firm, specializing in government relations, public affairs and grassroots outreach in Virginia Beach. She is the former Director of Legislative Affairs for Delegate Sal Iaquinto. She has served as Secretary of the Republican Party of Virginia Beach and Treasurer for the 2nd Congressional District Republican Party. Ann also works as a voice-over artist.
