Stan Brantley, Surry County. Vice-president of engineering for a firm that designs machines for agriculture and waste recycling; former chairman of Paul D. Camp Community College, and promotion chairman for the Shad Planking.

Tamera Cauthorne-Burnette, Hanover County. Family nurse practitioner with the Virginia League for Planned Parenthood, former chair of the Public Affairs Committee of the Junior Leagues of Virginia and president-elect of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.

Lynn Clark, Alexandria. Communication specialist for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, former president of a schoolteachers' association and a member of the Fairfax County Human Rights Commission.

Greg Crist, Alexandria. Member of a government relations/public affairs firm and former assistant press secretary for Gov. George Allen.

Mark Cruise, Radford. Executive Director of the Virginia Association of Free Clinics, co-founder of the Partnership for Access to Health Care, and president of the Radford Parents-Teachers-Students Association.

Rodney Eagle, Harrisonburg. Owner of carpet business and a developer; mayor of Harrisonburg and vice-chairman of the Central Shenandoah Planning District.

Dan Edwards, Virginia Beach. Accountant, controller of a construction company, member of the Virginia Beach School Board, and president of the men’s fellowship group at his church.

Laura Flippin, Fairfax County. Lawyer for the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, former president of the College of William and Mary student government and only student on the W&M Board of Visitors' Presidential Search Committee.

Christine Fox, Warrenton. Owner of a women’s clothing store, member of the board of the Partnership for Warrenton Foundation and the board of the Warrenton Economic Development Advisory Committee.

Marsha Garst, Harrisonburg. Lawyer, president-elect of the Pilot Club (which aids brain-damaged individuals) and a member of the city’s Domestic Violence Task Force.

Davon Gray, Prince William County. Staff assistant in research and constituent services at the White House and member of a mentoring program for youth in downtown Washington.

Herbert Griffith, Goochland County. Retired division manager for AT&T, chairman of the Goochland County Industrial Development Authority and member of the board of Friends of the Goochland Library.

Ken Halla, Alexandria. High school history and government teacher and former aide to state Sen. Charles Waddell.

Susan Horne, Leesburg. Executive director of Leadership Fairfax, founder and past president of the Loudoun County School-Business Partnership and member of the board of the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce.
